Interesting to read all this. I'm in the same boat. MA2S which is less than a year old and could become a countryside flyer only.

Do we think there's a chance DJI can retro class certain drones? I ask as I'd imagine in Jan 2023 they'll still be selling the A2S and M3 just with a class sticker on.

@Daimo its not quite as simple as just sticking a Class sticker on to existing models
the remotes will need to be modified as well ,and versions tested, before being approved by the aviation and transport departments of the country they are hoping to sell their drones in
