Are you thinking the app is genuine or fake?

"DJI’s official apps aren’t even listed on Google Play at all. The company asks Android users to download the app directly from its website. As a result, any DJI app on Google Play is not legitimate." My wife must had made a mistake then so it looks like you are 100% right, sorry.Go ahead ... ignore everyone who tells you the facts.
"Yes, fake and malicious apps can be found on the Samsung Galaxy Store, though the store has security measures in place. These apps may mimic legitimate ones to steal data, spread malware, or display excessive ads." I am going to do a factory reset now with the tablet and change my password, as you are right and I was wrong, sorry once again.Go ahead ... ignore everyone who tells you the facts.
You should report the app on the Galaxy store.I found it! the Fake app is located in the Galaxy Store! I let my wife have it for telling me otherwise! LOL
Samsung has it's own app store, separate from the Google Play store. The screenshot shows some language written in Chinese: "飞行教学" — which translates to "Flight tutorial" or "Flight training" in English.Hmmm, I don't think there is an "official" DJI Fly app anywhere on the Google Play Store so thread lightly; either you found a goldmine or there's a pretty darn good scammer out there. Got a screenshot to share?

thank you very much! it must be the original app but modified because it allowed an update.Samsung has it's own app store, separate from the Google Play store. The screenshot shows some language written in Chinese: "飞行教学" — which translates to "Flight tutorial" or "Flight training" in English.
The app vendor name, "Shenzhen DJI Innovation Technology Co., Ltd.",is similar, but not identical to the name that DJI uses for app store releases. They seem to use "深圳慧飞" for some and "SZ DJI Osmo Technology Co., Ltd." for others. I would assume that Samsung is validating the vendor information.
The What's new section lists "Added support for Android 12". Android 12 was released 4 years ago, so I doubt that this version is the same build as the current version available on DJI's site.
It could fail to run for multiple reasons:
You could ask DJI on their forums if this is their app listing. Since DJI makes their Android apps directly available to download from their own site, I would avoid this one. I think it's a valid listing, but why take the chance?
- It could be malware
- It could be out of date
- It could be region locked
- It may only supported for some Samsung products.

I don't like the screen size. Right now I'm using a 10.5" iPad pro but it seems to lag. I have to close the app and open it at times to make it a little better. I believe it came out in 2017. on a side note: the local fishermen love my drone work for example they thank me for checking on their boats as this was shot before sunrise and it was a very windy day so most are at dock. A free boat inspection. So in a way I do hundreds of hours of community service in the city I live in.Uh, just get an iPhone maybe?![]()
