Welcome to the forum,not sure what sort of update you are asking about if you mean firmware update then, proceed As follows make sure you have a good internet WiFi connection and then connect your device and controller and finally the drone as you would if you were going to fly if an update is available it will prompt you to start make sure you remove the gimbal guard before you start the drone,and that you have at least60% battery in all your devices during the update the drone and controller will flash and turn on and off several times and when it has finished the drone will be off before you turn the controller or device off restart the drone for a time to initiate the update and all should be well
