Updating new MA

Got everything hooked up and saw red bar saying it needs update, after hooking all up started the download with my phone, anyway with 3 fully charged batteries I still can't get the download finished without all 3 batteries depleted, do I need to use DJI assistance, Drone is brand new purchased this month, any ideas?

I never use a phone for updates,always use ass2

Strange, I used my phone for updates when I first purchased the MA and it took less then 10 minutes.

That DOES seem like a long upgrade time. The code needs to download. Is your phone on wifi or are you using cell data? If your cell's download speed has been throttled, this could potentially be why it's taking so long.

DJI Assistant 2 will probably be a better choice.

do I need to use DJI assistance, Drone is brand new purchased this month, any ideas?

Here are a few things you could try:

• Connect your phone to a different Wi-Fi network (if available) to rule that out as the cause
• Install the update from a different mobile device
• Download the DJI Assistant 2 installer here and install the update from there

My update took no more than 10 minutes from the phone also.
