I use my drone only a couple times a year, usually when traveling. I have a Mavic Air but I find the battery life is poor. By the time I get around 10 mins of video, it gives me the 30% batter warning. I also find the range limited to around 2000ft even in less populated areas. I also find that it struggles when there is mild wind. Any recommendations on what I should be replacing it with?

As with most things, it all depends on what you can afford and how many times you're likely to use it (return of investment).

The real-world battery life of all DJI drones is nowhere near the claimed flight time as stated in either the specs, or the advertising.

If you're looking for a better camera, any of the post gen #1 Mavic Air drones won't disappoint - the Mavic 2: Air 2 and Air 2S are still excellent drones, but getting replacement batteries is starting to become problematic.

If you can afford, or warrant the expense, the Mini 3 Pro (and Mini 4 Pro) are brilliant and capable little drones, perfect for travellers.
