I'm not clear on the question. Are you asking whether you'll be able to do firmware and software updates with the drone connected to a PC if you fly it with an iPhone?

You should be able to up grade by connecting to wifi.

You need a Mac to download too, if you are using a I Phone

Think there App that will allow to use a Iphone

Well not in my case ive been using a I mac for a few years,
but now changed to a PC ,yes you could connect it bye USB cable but it might not work
