Upgrading from Mini 2

Hey my Mini 2 is ok but I am told that I need a 20 Mp camera as a bottom line for good mapping and photogrammetry. Are you younger and wiser? Thank you

I'm only a little younger and not sure if I'm any wiser but mapping and photogrammetry are a couple of the more demanding tasks for drones. An ability to fly waypoints is usually preferred and ideally a mechanical shutter for accuracy. You can use a drone with an electronic shutter but the industry standard is a Phantom 4 Pro-20MP camera with mechanical shutter. There are higher priced options available and you can use other platforms to a point if you know what you're doing. I'll leave that to the guys more experienced at mapping than myself to tell you the minimum drone for mapping but I wouldn't think the Mini 2 is on that list.
