USB plug on mavic pro controller

Hi all,
I've been years without flying and I have everything ready to take off but I don't have a cable to connect the phone to the controller (microUSB to Type-C). I plugged a USB to Type-C cable to the controller USB big plug in the middle of the controller but I can't connet the phone to the DJI go 4. Is this USB plug valid to connect the phone?

I use that with my Ipad YES it should work fine. make sure you are not using a charge only cable.

Check on amazon with "CABLE CREATION possibly # CC0837 It's a TYPE C Male to Micro A Male Cable
THE A end will connect to your controller (be careful plugging it in, and the other end to the phone with the C end.
This cable is fairly short. 6in. You may want something a little longer. It worked for me, let me know if worked for you.

For got to mention, the A end goes in on the end where you plug in to charge the controller.

Besides checking your cable isn't charge-only make sure to remove any cable from the side port.
