use air 2 with RC controller

Doubtful. The Air 2 has been discontinued, so I doubt DJI is interested in attempting to improve it further.

Indeed. They'd have to add – and support – O2 on it, on a device that already has too little storage and RAM to run O3 without problems for models that are still generating revenue.
