Hi all,

After a long break from flying drones, I've decided to get back into it with the MP. My question is regarding using combination ND/Polarizer filters. I have a good understanding of exposure theory as I work in digital cinema with big Arri cameras, but with the MP, does the focusing of the camera rotate the filter when it's installed?

With polarizers you usually have to eyeball the orientation of the polarizer for maximum effect, but if the MP lens rotates the filter, that means the operator would have to almost pre-focus the camera on the subject, and then properly index the filter, or else the polarization might not be fully effective.

How do you guys and gals use your combo ND/Polarizer filters?

Focusing does not rotate anything.
It rotates when switching from landscape to portrait mode and of course the polarizer's effect changes when rotating the whole MP and facing different directions.

Ok great, so focusing is all internal?
