Going to Hawaii over the Holidays.
Any issues flying near or around Waikiki
Beach .Some Forums are confusing.

I was just there in April and had no issues. I stayed away from people and went early in the morning or late in the day. There are other spots to fly that have great views as well. Just be mindful of the winds.

Just be mindful of low flying tour helicopters. I've seen one guy flying his drone on Waikiki and not even acknowledge the tour helicopter and he was pretty high up. I've also seen a guy launch his drone from the beach in extremely close proximity to other people including my fiance. These are the type of noob flyers that ruin the hobby for everyone else.

You shouldn't have any problems flying on Waikiki beaches. Some hotels may have drone policies though (bundled under privacy concerns). Like someone else said, I'd go early before the beaches get crowded.

Be aware that you can't fly in any Hawaii state parks.
