Now we made a thread because you took a video in the video section and made it your vent. Was not the place. Critiques might have been the place but not videos. You went off topic and if I had seen it before it went any further your post would have been deleted You need to refresh our guidelines. If you continue to question moderation you will be warned for the 4 time. If you don‘‘t quit posting about it you will not like what I do.

The main reason it has become so popular is because it is the only format allowed on TikTok.

That’s exactly correct. People that know that they are going to shoot for others to watch on their phones will typically be shooting vertical video. I never do but I understand why many people do so. TikTok, Instagram, etc. all expect vertical video.

Well reading this thread this morning is a huge disappointment to me.

I was the one who separated all those ridiculous off-topic posts into this one thread. I was attempting to do y'all a favor to allow you to continue discussing this topic without pushing that other thread into the weeds (again). As it stood, that other thread was going to be the OP's post only and everything else simply DELETED because y'all simply wanted to banter about one way of filming or the other.

Instead of giving HELPFUL and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism you just bashed the OP and then made the topic your own. I'll take it as MY MISTAKE as I should have just left everything deleted and been done with it.

I think several of us need to take a moment and Review our Community Guidelines that EACH and EVERY member voluntarily agreed to when you joined this forum. Pay special attention to this one:
