Very low distance reached with the Mavic Air 2 in a good reception area

Today flying over a reservoir in the middle of nowhere I wasn’t able to reach more than 1,8km from the home point although I have been flying at 120m high. The RC symbol showing the reception quality changed to orange and a bad signal message appeared .I fly with an iPhone 8 Plus 64Gb and I have just installed the last firmware in both the AC and the App (IOS 1.1.5) . Has anybody a similar issue? Any suggestions ? Should I downgrade to the previous firmware in the AC?. Thanks and regards .

Personally I wouldn’t call 1.8km an issue, I like to see my drone.

1.8 km is good. Try to set 2.4ghz instead of dual channel if you are un open area

I wondered if it goes orange when it switches to try to find a good band to use. I thought that was the whole point of occusync 2.0. Choosing a band seems like it defeats the purpose.

Hearing that the MA2 does not change the frequency during the flight.He chooses the frequency at the beginning of the flight.Is it right?
