Davinci Resolve is the most powerful free editing software. Lots of tutorials on youtube so learning is not any problem. Will take some time though. I have stopped using the paid PowerDirector after trying it out.

Second for Davinci Resolve.

Third for DaVinci Resolve 17, free edition!

I am using Filmora X.

I've used Hitfilm Express for gaming videos, haven't had a chance to use it for my drone videos yet though.

In that case, if you’re just starting, recommend using iMovie for simplicity then move on to other apps. Check out my videos on YouTube with “flying Sedona” in the title. Search will bring them up. All were processed in iMovie.
You be the judge.
