I’ve been speaking w a network tv station about providing live coverage of an event. The issue is how to direct feed the video from Mavic 3 pro/RC pro to their control board.

Using an app such as YouTube or similar as a patch does not interest them.

If you have a known and proven solution, please help. Thanks in advance.

I looked at the Yolobox, and what I couldn't figure out was how the drone feed gets to the yolobox.

Without a waiver, VLOS would seem to rule out being in the control room. Isn't that where the Yolobox will be?

With the RC Pro, a long HDMI cable (10-20m for example) and an HDMI to mini-HDMI converter.

Once connected, you can select to feed video with or without the HUD/telemetry.

That's the best option quality wise, and also the cheapest.

Thank you for your help. Do I understand correctly…the Rc connects to the yolobox, the yolobox would then feed the video via cable directly to the control board?

In your opinion, would The video be of network quality, understanding it will of course be a “remote”, in the field, feed as opposed to a studio camera?

I have been using an Inspire 2 for Network broadcasts for years but wish to incorporate my Mavic 3 Cine as well. The mobile trucks want 1080i so I purchased a Decimator from B&H that converts HDMI to 1080i SDI. I received it a few days ago and it doesn't seem to work. It shows no signal into the HDMI, even though we've tested the output of the RC Pro to various monitors the Decimator doesn't seem to accept the HDMI. Does anyone else have experience with this. Maybe I got a bad Decimator, but I'd be surprised, as the build quality on these units is always exceptional. Is there another way to ensure 1080i for live broadcast? I see someone mentioned Yolobox in this thread. I haven't looked it up yet and just thought I'd send this message out as I have broadcasts coming up soon.

YOLOBOXes will not stream 1080i directly you would need to convert it Yoloboxes output in progresive resolutions such as 1080p or 720p Yolobox will accept 1080i but it will convert it for streaming. Have you contacted B&H there customer service is literally number 1 and I would bet they would help you.

Yes, my tech got right on this and is in direct communication with the engineers in Australia where the Decimator is manufactured. Thanks for the reply.

they accept the Occusync transmissions directly from the Drone.
