I recorded this clip (below) with a MPP. I've edited the video with Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate. After editing the video resulting in altering the brightness and sharpness,,,, graininess (noise?)now appears (water/ice at bottom of clip). Any tips on how to prevent or eliminate this annoyance? There are tons of options to edit video but it's hard to know what they do, etc.

What was the camera set at? ISO, shutter speed, contrast, WB, etc?

The original recording didn't have the noise. I used an nd8 filter. The camera settings were default. The shutter speed at launch was 100, ISO ranged when I was looking either at 100 and 200, the white balance was auto. The other settings were 0,0,0. I intend to try +1 for sharpness the next time out.

But, my question was more related to what the software was doing to the video. I see a lot of videos on YouTube over water that are crystal clear. My guess is that that are modified in post. But, I am struggling in post as what I'm doing or not doing that's causing some sort of noise.

Did it appear that way in the software while editing it? Or did this aberration only appear after you rendered the final video. If the latter, what bitrate was it rendered at?
