Video Playback probs

Hi all, got my Mavic Pro last week and very impressed with what it can do.
One prob so far - can anyone help ?
I usually connect my USB devices to my blu-ray player to then play video on my TV.
With the drone footage, the video copies over to my PC and plays fine but when I connect the card/external memory device to my blu-ray player and select a video file to play I get a message "Audio format not supported" and it doesn't even play the video, I just get a full screen of electro lines.
Is this a settings issue somewhere or have I just got a crap TV.

Are you recording mp4 files?

Yep - it may be that my TV is not a smart TV so can't cope with the files as it does the same thing on my other HD ready TV. Just seems strange that I can play MP4 HD files from my sony video camera OK. Could it be the 4K setting do you think ?

Probably a codec issue.

In camera settings for movies, make sure you use 4k setting that shows 3840x2160, 30fps. Do NOT use the 4k setting that shows 4000x2250.

Or you can get a video tool like Brorsoft video converter to convert and tweak your source files to fit on your TV.
