Hello,

I've been trying out different settings for video with my Air 3, as well as doing research. I edit and render my videos via Davinci Resolve.

So far I'm thinking my settings for video should be as follows.

HLG 30fps 1/60th frame rate.

Is this the best settings I could use. I wanted to use d log m, but with no one having the color space information on this way of shooting I settled on HLG. Am I right for this?

D log is the way to go if you're shooting professionally,It gives you the most dynamic range. Also 24FPS and 1/50th unless you want slo-mo. If you're already using Resolve, doing a simple color grade is easy. There are many tutorials on Youtube. If you're just shooting for fun or the socials then you can stick with what you're using

Thank you for answering. I tried d log as I was under that same train of thought. The only thing that got me thinking of HLG was that d log m isn't an actual d log and that DJI hasn't released the color space info for that. I was using the DJI d gamut for the air 3 to rec 709. I know the mavic outputs actual d log so the davinci color space for it is right. But unlike the mavic they will not release the info for the air line. Much in the same way apps like drone deploy and others can run a mavic but not an air 3. I read that with this not being a color space than is given out by DJI that d log m isn't exactly correct in editing apps. Is that wrong? Does the DJI lut for CST handle this?
