Video Times out

While taking a video it stops at 4 min. 51 sec. and starts on another, is that normal?

Sure is. For whetever reason, many gimbals shut down after 4 minutes in 4k... If you want to record longer clips, downres to 1080. Sometimes it's better to shoot short clips anyway. Most pros get out there, shoot what they went there for, and come back.

FAT32 has a file size limit of 4GB, they are rolling it over at 3.5GB

I wonder if DJI knew that the Mavic sometimes times out after 4 minutes? Sometimes I let the cam run for 8 minutes and it's fine, but thats only on the bench, never during flight.

Files will also be limited to 4GB with exFAT. Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass that limit with DJI drones.

Are you saying the drone can only record to Fat32 or exFat?

I'm saying there is no way to avoid files from splitting around 4GB.
