If you have an issue with a drone being replaced under warranty, do they have you ship the remote back as well? Nothing is wrong with remote btw.

No they ask that you only ship the drone , not even the battery or any cords.

How long does the warranty replacement process take?

It takes as long as the drone takes to get there and then usually your new drone will be shipped the next day. Then there's the return shipping time. Your new drone won't have a battery unless you sent one in with the damaged drone.
