Water damaged mavic remote

I have a DJI Mavic Pro remote which was dropped in water and never repaired. I've since purchased a replacement but wondering what I should do with the damaged one. Does any one want to try to repair it? Does DJI recycle old parts? Not asking for money just offering it to anyone that wants it.
