Water. Flying over a river

I was flying mp2 very a rapid river trying to catch someone kayaking the rapid. I was about 10 ft above water. MY DRONE WENT UNCONTROLLABLY CRAZY. WHY??????

Mavics don't like flying that close to water; the reflection confuses their sensors. Have you watched this?

Ty for that. I think I will turn sensors off and keep above 12 ish ft. Open to suggestions.

Go to DJI Flight Log Viewer | Phantom Help
Follow the instructions there to upload your flight record from your phone or tablet.
That will give you a detailed report on the flight data.
Come back and post a link to the report it gives you.
