I woke up to a surprise two days ago. There were two waterspouts near where we are staying in Florida. I did not get the drone up in time before the first one dissipated. But I was able to capture the second one.
My biggest concern was the rain. There was not much wind but a wall of rain was approaching from the left.I don't think I would have been brave enough to send mine up in conditions like that....good capture
A little more wet than I liked. When I took off it was not raining. But it started coming down pretty good so I brought it back. But by the time I had brought it down it stopped again. But I wasn’t going to put it up again because a wall of rain was approaching from the left.Good timing!! How wet was your drone when you got it back?
I wasn’t taking it far because the heavy rain was approaching. I would not make a regular practice of flying it in the rain. It wasn’t rainy when I took off. And it started sprinkling. But after it started taking a bit harder, I brought it back at that point.Great video.
The Air 2S seems to handle the rain quite well ;-)
I was so excited to be able to see one. We have friends staying about a mile and half closer to it and got some amazing close up pics.Nice catch. I have seem few of them and they are always spectacular.
