Mavic Maven, a 3rd party app for the Mini has a bunch of features including Virtual Reality (with your phone and goggle), PolyGeo Fence (customizable fly zone along with max/min altitude settings), Waypoints (Yes - WPs for the Mini!) and now a new update with "Copilot".
We all need a copilot to keep the camera pointing at the POI. while we fly. The yaw, throttle, pitch sticks are used to the speed, direction, radius, altitude etc. while the Copilot takes care of the camera gimbal and drone orientation.
It really appears to have some great features! Here's a couple:
- Adjustable ORBIT - You fly controlling all aspects of the orbit- direction, speed, radius height using the sticks while the Copilot aims the camera at your in flight adjustable POI.
- Cable Cam - It's like a camera dolly. You control the speed, direction and altitude while the Copilot flies in a straight line between two points and aims the camera.
I haven't flown it yet to test but here's a link to a new Maven Copilot video. Whatcha think??
