Searching the forum and it appears floor height still hasn't been addressed. And Maven seems to be dead without iOS, an SDK, and it wouldn't work on the RC 2 anyway. Soooo... I was wondering if anyone had tried using cruise control on the Mini 4 Pro as a means of setting the floor. If you set your max height as your floor height, start cruise control with a slight elevation gain only. Would it bump up against the ceiling so you can still fly all the other directions but not have to worry about deviating from the max height (acting as the floor). Could we tune the sticks after takeoff to make vertical motion 0? You can always fly home and use RTH to get it on the ground.
Does anyone have other workarounds?
N.B. - Like others, the use case is tracking fast moving subjects over water where the downward sensors aren't always reliable and any slip in elevation means you're on the DJI swim team.
