What do you do when you encounter another drone being flown at the site you plan to use?

I’ve had happen a couple times. Approach the other pilot, and ask they mind if you fly too. Both times have been positive responses with good conversations.

Once I couldn’t see / find the pilot. Just waited until the drone landed and then flew my flight after 5 minutes of inactivity in the airspace.

I fly occassionally with my son in law at his farm. We are maybe 10 metres apart but we always fly at different altitudes and announce when we are coming in for a landing and from what direction.
