What does EQV mean?

On the Mavic 2 Pro - F/2.8 EQV 28mm, what does the EQV mean?
It has been driving me crazy trying to find the answer... Figured I'd ask the Experts here!

EQV 28mm means that the lens really isn't a 28mm lens, but provides the "equivalent" field of view (FOV) as a 28mm lens would have on a 35mm camera (or whatever camera/film/sensor standard they're using)

Thank you for that! Good information that was not available in DJI website or BNH photo or anywhere else I looked for it.
