Just got the drone, and man this thing is a beast. Much different flight characteristics than any drone I've had before, and coming from a Mini 5 pro - couldn't be more different.

Wondering where other pilots have their settings for each mode, so I can have a good starting point.

Also settings like braking, smoothness & such.

This is one of the least understood yet most useful settings given to Drone operators especially since DJI is a closed system. I do not have a mini 5 so I would say you may be in for some experiments in Drone handling lol. Perhaps a mini 5 owner will step in with thier settings.
Do you have experience with gain and expo settings from other RC Planes or Drones?

As a beginner you should generally start with higher expo settings until you get used to the drone for your reaction time and type of flying. Too much expo can also be irritating, its a lot of trial and error for your personal type of flying.

Its much easier on drones and similar to helicopters. On my RC planes I have different settings for the type, size and intended use of plane I'm flying; much more complicated there, with so many possible moving surfaces such as ailerons, flaps, air brakes. rudder etc.

I have flown a Mavic2, Air 2S, Air 3, and Mavic 3 pro. The Mavic 4 pro is so much larger & heavier that I was interested in a baseline from other users.

Having both the M3 Cine and the M4 Pro, I have left the Expo settings "as is" from the factory, I change flight behaviors on the Controller (Cine, Normal and Sport), but eventually I will start messing with the expo settings.

Once you start getting an "idea" of what these settings can do for you, You will be glad you found them! The difference from factory is night and day!

I don't have my drones in front of me but I know at least two of the setting are around .2. Pitch and roll... .25? I want my yaw to ramp up slowly as I never want to pan quickly. Max horiz speed set to full of course, ascent I toned down a bit. Descent full speed in the event I need it to get down fast. Braking is something like 80. I don't want a super abrupt stop but I need it to be reasonably quick. Full 100 might be safer but I'm pretty conservative with my flying. I'm guessing those are my numbers for normal. Fast is more full tilt boogey since I'm never filming that way and Cine is a bit more conservative for smoother flying while filming.

Thank you, that's the king of info I'm looking for

It is easy to adjust each setting one at a time to see what effect it has and whether you like it. Remember that the settings for each mode, Cine, Normal and Sport are independent of each other. What I use for Cine is different than Sport.
