I was flying around and every thing was fine until I almost hit it did hit a power line I kept on flying as I thought I had missed it as it did not show any signs of control loss. It then started to lose signal only 1 km away which is very unusual. When I later landed it I felt a strange liquid coming out of the gap where the back arms join on to the Mavic I checked the battery and it was intact so plz help. Ps I’m not sure if dji lubricate the arms so it could be that but plz help

The arms are not lubricated. Any kind of liquid coming from the sky is usually water.

Could it be bird poop? Anything is possible when your drone is in the sky.

Perhaps hit a small bird/large bug / sappy tree? Or if near power lines perhaps buildup on the lines that you clipped transferred to the drone.

There's nothing with liquids inside the drone though

I consistently bump into power lines as I use my mac air to pull out a winch line to place new lines on power poles. The prop looks like you hit a bigger acsr line. The small distribution lines dont usually cause issues. Bigger acsr wire will break a prop. As far as liquid goes I highly doubt it has anything to do with power lines. A leaky pot will make a huge mess and is very obvious.

Does it have a smell? What kind of consistence or Color? Transformer Boxes have an oil in them to help cool them, maybe was leaking and when you flew under or near one wind sprayed it onto your Mavic?
It does smell like oil however I was not flying near a power line but thanks any way ??
