So i have unfortunately flown into a hard surface known as the side of my house.

Upon first inspection - only a few scratches. Gimbal still works fine however it seemed more lose than before.

So - I started poking around and noticed there is an L-Shaped bracket below the gimbal (if your Mavic is held upside down) that is broken off. (i have attached 2 pictures of the bracket before it is not broken)

I was wondering if anyone knows what this is for.? VIdeos all shoot fine and pictures too. I wrote to DJI but they have said i need to send the Mavic to Hong Kong for fixing as the local store has Zero idea of what its for.

IT must be for something and i dont want to continually use my Mavic its an important piece of the puzzle.

You would need to open her up as that clip is screwed in from the inside thereby voiding your warranty.. It's like a bump stop preventing the gimbal from exerting too much strain on the rubber supports in the event of large or sudden movements of the Mavic.
