I don't own a M2 but every picture i have seen shows a cancel button in the lower left corner of the display, just like the original MP.

Ah, ok. I presumed video feed will die prior to radio link termination. So screen will have no buttons, only remote buttons will be left. But, i see your point.

Technically they call it the "Pause" button, you can also momentarily switch to another mode with the mode switch and it will cancel it also.
