Hey everyone! Looks like DJI has got some cool stuff on the way! DJI Lito X1 looks like it might be somewhat like the mini-series. Does anyone know what else they might release next year?LiTO.png

As an American with the current state of our government and foreign made products being on a "list", I probably won't be enjoying any new products soon.

I guess it's back to folding up paper airplanes for the time being. :D

Some foil, wooden matchsticks, and a paperclip and you can entertain yourself for hours with tiny matchstick rockets 👍🏻

I'm sorry- forgot- You do, but we have no ban whatsoever on dji stuff. Maybe I can test products and tell you what I think.

We need to hear more about this. Is there actually combustion involved? (If so, It's probably good that my friends and I didn't know about this when we were 10.)

Speaking of combustion, possibly the most dangerous (and stupid) project I've done was making an electronic pistol that used a lipo battery as the source of power to ignite the very explosive propellent. Yes, a LIPO. Very dangerous.... (see my expression in the photo)

I am in the US so I could now care less what these companies release in 2026,such a shame it has to be that way.

To vastly improve upon this tutorial, use about twice the length of foil on the matchstick, cover at least half the length of the matchstick.

Place a straightened paperclip on one side of the matchstick, going all the way to the head. Wrap the assembly with 2x layers foil, then use your thumbnail to push the foil down around the paperclip wire to form an exhaust channel from the head out the bottom of the foil. Carefully slide the wire out. Place the rocket on the launcher with the exhaust channel on top.

I launched tons of these when I was a kid. Do it in the backyard over something safe, like a lawn.

You're gonna set the house on fire if playing indoors as suggested by the picture. 🔥🔥

MomBright. I dunno, doesn't' seem very bright. 🤔

Yeah that picture is stupid.

I launched mine off an outdoor table into the lawn. Couldn't be safer. Lots of fun!

I'm also very grateful to have grown up as part of the last generation not to be bubble-wrapped as kids. We had real playground equipment, diving boards at pools, and all sorts of other mortal dangers. Sure, we broke an arm now and then, but childhood was FUN.
