At the start up I get this message

Then I hit Update Now and this happens

... and stays that forever, no update.

Thoughts please ..!??!

Have you connected the tablet or phone your using to your home internet so it can download the PFS database, it's probably looking for wi-fi connection

I updated this yesterday away from WiFi just using mobile data and it worked fine have to update to latest firmware today but that will have to be done via WiFi.

The update notification has the seemingly magical ability to only pop up when I'm out in the field getting ready to actually fly. When I'm sitting at home wanting to upgrade stuff the message never pops up. o_O

i had the same issue, found out that the room I was in did not get good WiFi, reception moved everything close to the Modem.
and no problem.

kakao stated that he/she has a good WiFi connection, the screen shot also confirms that. I'd think we need to look at other causes

It is off-putting that the dialog is empty. What happens if you tap on OK? Nothing?
Switch your WiFi on your iPhone off for 5 min or so. Switch it ON again. Better?

Can you otherwise surf normal and at usual speeds to websites? If not or in doubt, disconnect from your WiFi, tap on "i" symbol in settings screen, use "Forget this network". STOP the DJI Go app, by swiping up.
Re-connect to your WiFi (for best results have your WiFi password ready).
Start DJI Go
Try again.
