Back in the old nitro fixed wing days, everyone had a flight box. Most boxes held a gallon of nitro fuel, a manual/electric fuel pump, power source for glow plug igniter, glow plug wrench, and an electric starter for the engine. These days, well, the list is somewhat different.

What do I keep in my drone flight box?
  1. Safety vest
  2. Baseball cap
  3. Poncho
  4. Checklist
  5. Tab extender
  6. Inverter
  7. Car charger for flight battery
  8. A few hand towels
  9. Extra USB C cables
  10. Extra props
  11. Extra sunglasses
  12. Umbrella to use as a sunshade
  13. 2 landing pads
  14. Waterless hand soap
  15. Sunshade for my devices
  16. First aid kit
  17. Extra SD cards
  18. Anemometer
  19. Temp gun
  20. Business cards
What do you keep ion your flight box? This is in addition to what I keep in my Nanuk 920 case.

That sounds like a lot of gear- I’m guessing you aren’t planning to be far from your vehicle.

Good list if you don’t need to carry it.

  • Drone
  • 3 batteries
  • Smart controller
  • Filters
  • Extended landing gear
  • Extra SD card
  • Extra set of props

That's all I need. I admit though, this is just hobby flying, not professional stuff.

Thats what I carry in my case too. The stuff I listed is what usually stays in the car all the time. (along with the einstein bobblehead)

I normally travel very light when I go out flying, I don’t use a car, we love walking to our fly zones. This is what I take,

small flymore bag,
three batts,
extra probs,
spare controller sticks,
drone,
Landing pad

My wife (spotter) takes these in her backpack.

Tent, just in case we travel to far and can’t get home.
Cooking stove, always get hungry while hikking
Bottled water
Fresh clothing, you never know what could happen.
Toilet roll, for number ones/twos
Shovel,
Torch, you guys call it a flash light.
Sleeping bags
Pillows
A generator, for power, charging my batteries/tx/CS battery.
iPhone/iPad, to make sure I’m not flying in a NFZ
Camping chairs,
And a nice bottle of wine for chilling at the end of the evening.

I took your advice rob and used a smaller font to save bandwidth 😉😉
