There are so many variable package deals out there.
Many have additional stuff I don't want but some are closer to my wants.

Here's a list of "must haves" I am considering:

  • FlyMore combo
  • DJI Care Refresh
  • ND filters
  • iPad mount
  • Hard case to hold it all including my iPad Air 2
Any tips or suggestions for a newbie buyer is welcomed.
I am moving up from a DJI P3A.
Thanks

If you are in the US the State Farm Insurance policy is a good option.

I am in California. I don't think there are any affordable insurance options here for hobbyists.
There are people using the State Farm policy in California.

I heard there is a way using out-of-state addresses.
I don't want to go there.

Will DJI Care Refresh be enough coverage?

I believe it has a deductable but also you must have the drone's carcass. If it sinks in the deep blue sea or a river - no coverage (unless logs show it was a defective drone).

That is not what they are doing.
If you lose your drone Sate Farm will cover it, DJI will not.

That is news to me. I have read many places that State Farm drone insurance is not available in California.

That list covers the basics. I have a list of commonly used accessories here if you want to see if there is anything else you might need.
