Whys drilling 2 holes a problem, I mean 54 bucks is really a waste, you could buy a new cover if you wanted ?

Im sure someone sell it cheaper. If the controller ever needs to be serviced the modification can be removed with no trace of it ever being there.

I know where to get that one, it ships from China and packages take forever or get lost in transit. Id like to find one thats here in the states where I can get it in a few days compared to weeks.

Yes you can, thats why you need the bracket. With a little reverse engineering it can easily be done.
