I’m doing a research paper for grad school on the drone industry and I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere I could find information on DJI such their annual revenues, expenses, etc. Since they are a private company it’s difficult to find that kind of info, I researched on the internet but only found a few general annual revenue figures. I’d really like to know what their design and manufacturing expenses are what amount of revenue is attributed to each drone model. If not DJI are there any drone makers that are publicly traded companies where I could easily find this type of info? Thanks!

DJI is a private company so it might not be possible to obtain the information you're seeking. Private companies don't have to make financial disclosures. Here's a link that has some info.

I can guarantee you 100% that DJI doesnt even know how much they are making. With their rapid expansion, new releases, and returns, Confucius himself couldn't even help them figure it out.

Private means private.
That being said there are ways but they most likely won’t be free and more likely not cheap.

So would I but getting such info may be an unrealistic goal. Can you shift the topic slightly? How about the significance of one man, Frank Wang, owning 45% of DJI which controls 70% of the global consumer drone market?
