Where to start as a newbie?

Hello everyone, I’ve been an FPV racing drone pilot mostly for freestyles.

I like having and using latest gadgets that I like. So recently I bought an Mavic 2 Pro along with ipad mini 4 and Final Cut Pro X on my mac.

But I don’t know anything about video editing nor I have an experience to make a good video. But since I like flying drones I wanted to start learning how to fly mavic quickly and then start learning how to make videos with cinematic quality.

So my question is, where do you think I should start to learn filming videos, creating cinematic scenes... Is there a udemy course or a youtube channel that you suggest for me to follow and learn everything? I just don’t want to fly up and come back down with such an expensive drone. Thabk you for your help in advance. Thanks

YT is full of video editing lessons. You may find that unless you capture something really special, aerial videos and pictures will start to look alike. I fly most days but rarely record anything any more.

To learn the Mavic in and out go to the YouTube channel “toms tech time” and search for Mavic under his videos

^this video pertains to the Mavic 1 but almost 90% of the information he gives will overlap with the Mavic 2 so as a beginner it’s an important watch.

I made this video as it quickly shows the adjustments you can make to the gimbal and drone movements itself to smooth everything out. No one likes a jerky video
