Which app for the Mavic Mini

Hi.

As the title really. I've just bought a Mavic Mini 1 and am looking for advice from the people who know as to which of the many apps will work best with it?

Obviously I've downloaded the DJI Fly app, which works, but would like to do some more advanced stuff with flight planning.

Aware the answer is likely to be "it depends what you want to do with it" so just looking for advice on what others have had success with.

My questions,
You just bought a Mavic Mini 1, is this new or used?
DJI-Fly works, you can fly it and what is your mobile device?
Flight planning, I use Litchi, they can only use what DJI shares as a SDK.
Last I checked on a MM1, if the bird looses signal from the remote, it does a RTH. It won't finish the mission

My example, use Litchi to make a video that sees my house, garage, grass, etc.
I have trees Fir and Pine over 220', oaks like 30', your mobile device drops off, remote gets dropped, etc.
At that time the bird is under a tree canopy, obviously the tree is going to win.

Just now, can we set RTH to Hover or Land, if the mission fails?

I purchased my son's drone (dji mavic mini). I downloaded Litchi app and Litchi brings a lot more versatility. I can set waypoints and send the drone on its flight autonomously. I can "orbit" (i used this to fly 360 degrees around my flag pole at 16' radius. I can use it with a VR headset (which adds a whole new element to flying my drone!) I have the option of using DJI or Litchi, but find 95% of the time I opt for my Litchi app after connecting. I highly recommend Litchi based on my own personal experience. Although I haven't tried this function yet, you can also, (if on same wifi network), load Litchi Vue app on a friends phone and Litchi can stream your flight to your friends phone. in real time, so they can watch your flight (untethered), from their own mobile phone! I'm still new to flying my DJI drone but, in my opinion, Litchi app brings a lot to the table.

It's second hand but has been flown about four times. The fly more kit.
