Using a Samsung S23FE. Absolutely amazing screen quality and brightness compared to my old Samsung A12.
OLED screens work wonders!

Thank you!

Updated my two devices to the catalog as well.

Both Android and not approved by DJI but work great.

Thanks msinger for all you do. 👍

I have been using DJI Fly with an Ipad Pro First Gen 2016. (Model A-1673). I used it with the original Mini and currently with the Mini 2. I need to close out all other apps and go into airplane mode to avoid the device overload warning message, but it works fine. I much prefer using a large screen instead of a phone. I have a 2023 Ipad Pro, but by keeping the old one permanently devoted and attached to the tablet holder, which is attached to the controller, I never have to hassle with taking the new Ipad in and out of its case. The controller of course doesn't fit in the case anymore, so I just toss everything onto the car's back seat when I travel.......I also have an old Fire HD 10, which didn't work my Mini 2 when I got it, but I see it is now supported by DJI Fly. Maybe that would work even better than the old Ipad?

I need your help with two quick things:

1) Are you currently flying with one of these mobile devices? If so, please click the heart beside that mobile device to show you're using it.

2) If you're using a mobile device that's not on my list, please comment below and let us know the following:
  • Which mobile device are you using?
  • Which DJI apps do you fly with? (DJI Fly, DJI GO 4, DJI GO 3, etc.)

Thank you for your help!

I use my iPhone 11 with my Mavic Pro (DJI Go 4). Old devices but they work perfectly without any issues.
Even if I had plenty of extra money, I’d rather not keep up with the annual change… updating and upgrading just because there’s something newer (although I do acknowledge that, in general, newer models are better than the ones they replace).
Sorry, this is off-topic. Getting back to the survey: iPhone 11 with DJI Go 4 on a Mavic Pro.

I used to upgrade on an annual basis during the early years of the iPhone, but the tech has matured so much now that the benefit isn't there to get a new phone each year. I've largely stopped spec chasing for most tech now. Tech is a tool, if I don't run into its limitations/outgrown its capabilities, then there is no need for me to upgrade.

Spending money just to have the latest and greatest is just consumer brainwashing by companies and its marketing social media influencers.
