Why doesn’t DJI enable 4G enhanced transmission in the US?

Nope - the unit can't connect to the US network until the FCC allows it. Believe me, people have tried everything. The only thing that can be used to extend connectivity is to set up your own WIFI broadcasting router and access points. This would be necessary tech in a mine, mapping skyscrapers, etc., where GPS was weak or non-existent.
I've seen examples of municipal, law enforcement and fire fighting do this.
