I exported the KML from Airdata UAV site and I extracted the KML from the flyxxx.dat file for that same flight, from my Mavic Pro.
The screenshot below shows both tracks, which are identical when you look at them from top to bottom; however, when you view from a side view the Airdata UAV KML track (yellow) has appropriate altitude but the KML extracted from the flyxxx.dat file is flat, 2d (it looks 3d in this shot, but it really isn't).
I noticed the kml from Airdata UAV is 40k in size and the flyxxx.dat kml is 524k.
It's as if the flyxxx.dat kml file has nothing in it for altitude but yet it's a much larger file. Any ideas?
