Yeah I guess @ $99 with all those features....no wonder everyone wants one. /s
Christ! Is anyone not going to call this one out? It's a blatant DJI rip-off leveraging a hybrid of 5 year old Mavic/Mini tech and touting it as 'new'. Since when has blatant and visibly obvious copyright theft been classed as 'innovation'?
Agree 100%.At least the previous comments make me feel like I didn't overreact when I first read the article.
The Droning Company, I just ask, Why post this? You have always been a reliable source for solid drone news.
I would just tell someone if they want to get into drones at a cheap entry point to get a Mini 4K and rock solid DJI reliability and innovation.
The only reason why DJI has ended up being the company dominating the marketplace is that it is a company that had the genuine ability to innovate and develop within reasonable price limits... because it is constantly innovating and developing.I thought this was an article describing why people are beginning to turn their attention away from expensive drones like the DJI in favor of this cheap stuff. I know where this is going. After the ban, the idiots will claim these are DJI drones under cloak and dagger trying to get around the US ban (like theskydiverskyrover). That's the shtick these days. They'll raise the price a bit so you believe it's competitive and these drones will fly off the shelf. We did this to ourselves, this is what happens when you don't "police" your own community. My earlier post was sarcasm. IMO
