Having seen the 5 'winners' for US governmental drone use ( see The US government grounded DJI — but here are the five drones it just approved ), what I noticed is that 4 of these drones have the same design as my Parrot Anafi; in which the drone is built around the camera which has full vertical movement, allowing for flying downwind full speed with no changes in the horizon, unlike all DJI Mavic products which will drop the horizon down or even have props in the frame.
The DJI design appears to be a necessity for a 3-axis gimbal. However, is it possible electronic image stabilisation allows for the jaw-axis to be left out?
My question is basically: will future DJI products drop the "3-axis gimbal under a roof" -design and allow for full 180 degree vertical gimbal movement?
