Will iPad Pro USB-C port work as bi-directional port for HDMI and USB?

Hello,
I was wondering if USB-C port on New iPad Pro 11 will work as bi-directional HDMI (for external display) and USB (for Mavic controller connection) port if I attach a hub such as the one below or the one from Apple.

I already know that this kind of hub didn't work as HDMI & controller connection solution on Apple Lightening port and Android USB-C port. But couldn't find the thread pacifically about Apple USB-C port on New iPad Pro~

Most likely not. Such adapters are made for the iPad to become an USB host you can then attach devices to, but the DJI remote setup requires the opposite (remote is host, mobile is device).

Like others have said I am skeptical that it would but if it does that would be a game changer and hopefully anybody who has tried this or tries this in the future would please share your experience
