A good drone defence for a remote area or war zone for Terry Wrist drone defence.
Probably not going to be used by any air authorities in urban scapes or over ball games

Marine Corps at the forefront for ground-based lasers

There are better electronic countermeasures already developed that can take over the craft instead of crashing it (possibly dangerous).
