Anyone get any flight time in the past month or so? It seems all we get in New England right now is either windy days or rainy days, and few of the latter...

There is always going to be wind and rain to negotiate if you want to fly its part of the hobby.
Gaining experience in the wind is a must , and once you learn just how effective your drone is in the wind, you can manage it nicely.
The biggest problem with the Rain is the panic that unfolds you might consider a Wet Suit to give you the peace of mind so you dont panic .

So at this point you have no idea what the Air 2S will do in those type of winds and that gust.
Time to take the drone outside and just hover 10 ft high thru it all , once you see how the drone responds upclose you will get a much better idea as to what is possible.
The 30 Mph Gust is scary but doable as long as it just a Gust or Two .
If your drone starts moving away , keep it in Sport Mode so you can Power thru back to hover point.
I think you will learn alot from your Air 2S as we fly that in some wicked winds as well.

I'll have to get the craft out. I'm in a heavily wooded region with lots of 100 foot fir trees and little open space, so flying can be a challenge. But on good days it can be very pretty.

Had gale force winds on Cape Cod the past week so I only got one battery of flying in. Back home now, waiting for some sunshine....
