Monument to the "Wołyńska Sculpture" in Domostawa - a monument located in the town of Domostawa in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, erected in 2024 near the place of service for travelers "Bukowa - direction of Rzeszów" by the S19 express road. The dedication and unveiling of the monument took place on July 14, 2024, in 81.
anniversary of the culmination of mass crimes in Poles in Volhynia.
The author of the monument is Andrzej Pityński. The 14-meter monument weighs 14 tons and has the shape of an eagle, whose body is placed in flames. The total height of the monument together with the plinth is 20 meters.

History
The monument aroused extreme emotions because of the drastic message contained in it, however, as the creator and founders argued,
The UPA crimes against the Polish population in Volhynia and Eastern Lesser Poland were very drastic, and this should also be a monument to show the enormity of crime. The sculpture was cast in bronze in the Gliwice Technical Device Plant in 2018. The founders wanted
That the monument would be a gift for the Polish nation from Polish veterans from the United States and Canada. They undertook to bear all costs related to the adaptation of the place for the monument, the construction of the pedestal and transport of the monument from Gliwice and its assembly. Originally, the monument was to be unveiled on July 11, 2018, on the 75th anniversary of the Volhynia Slame.
Despite the strenuous efforts of American veterans, it was not possible to find a location in Poland. They did not want to put him in their area: Jelenia Góra, Rzeszów, Toruń and Stalowa Wola.
In 2018, the Social Committee for the Construction of the Monument was established, which included, among others writer Stanisław Srokowski, journalist Witold Gadowski, dr hab. Andrzej Zapałowski
, dr hab. Włodzimierz Osadczy, dr Witold Zych, Dionizy Garbacz. The first president of the committee was Fr. Tadeusz Isakowicz-Zaleski, after his death he was replaced by Fr. Antoni Moskal, priest of the parish of Our Lady of Stock Stock in Pielnia in the Archdiocese of Przemyśl, curator of memory of the inhabitants of the village of Borownica in the commune of Bircza and other villages in the Bieszczady Mountains,
murdered in 1939–1947 by Ukrainian nationalists.
Unveiling of the monument
In 2021, the Jarocin Commune Council decided that the monument would stand in Domostawa. In 2018, the commune head agreed with this location with the author. The founders of the monument also agreed to her.
The ceremony of the official unveiling of the monument took place on July 14, 2024, three days after the 81st anniversary of the bloody Sunday. The ceremony began with a field service, chaired by Fr. Antoni Moskal.
The ceremony gathered 20,000 people.
