Won’t land manually

My Air 2S has stopped responding to downward stick to land. It will just hover 12-24 inches above ground but will not land unless I press the on screen land button. No warnings, doing this on different surfaces. Bottom sensors seem to be working properly. I can’t figure out anything in settings to cause this. Ideas?

Update: It will land normally when avoidance is set to “Brake”. But when in “Bypass” it refuses to land manually.

Read about landing protection in the manual. There are certain conditions where the drone won't land.
