Won't connect to wi fi

Now what? Rechecked the password 4 times and it's right. Is my only option to download Digital Assistant 2?

What are you trying to connect to Wi-Fi? What happens when you attempt to do so?

I'm starting at the beginning with the rc2 new out of the box and my understanding is I need a wifi connection to activate the rc and drone. The controller keeps saying it was unsuccessful trying to connect to wi fi even though my passcode is correct for the modem.

I powered on the rc 2 and began going thru the steps for the setup procedure. I had entered the us as my country and the next step it wanted was the wifi to continue the setup so I entered the password for the wi fi connection and I keep getting wi-fi connection unsuccessful. So I'm stuck as to where to go from here.

Did you double swipe down from the top of the screen and enter your Wi-Fi password there?

No I did not, I didn't think I had access to do that at that point in the installation and l'll try to do that again as I think I only swiped down once.

That's the only place the Wi-Fi password can be entered on Android devices like the RC 2. There are no DJI prompts that require your local Wi-Fi password to be entered.

Yep there's no swiping down at all. Still just the few basic cues on the setup and no access to the down swipe to open the wi fi option. It does show the wi fi with a green switch on but it's not connected to wifi as the connection failed. I have an rc 1 and I know what you're talking about with the swipe down but I can't access that with this for some reason. I never had a problem setting up the other drones I have. Kinda stumped.

it's working all of a sudden, never got to the swipe but I got wi fi now.

Man, I was up until 2am getting everything squared away right down to putting the sticker on, my wife gave up on me and went to bed shaking her head, lol. Now got to deal with rain the next few days. The FAA registration part of it went smooth.

Oh, there is one thing I did that may have fixed the problem inadvertanly and I went to the wi fi switch on the app and turned it off then back on, right after that everything started working and loading, maybe that was it, I just realized this.
